History of Senior High School Petra

Originally founded in September 1951 in Road Embong Wungu No. 2, Surabaya. Opened in conjunction with Christian SMP Petra 1, with 2 study groups / classes, 55 students for junior high school. As for senior high school level, received three study groups / classes, 109 students.

After high school running eight years, enthusiasts who enter high school levels increased, so that in 1959, Petra 1 Christian high school moved to Jalan Kalianyar No. 43, Surabaya. In 1985, Petra 1 Christian high school is accredited with the status of "Recognized".

Petra Christian high school implement a national curriculum, Curriculum Education Unit (SBC). This curriculum allows students to develop their potential in academic and nonakademik. Special Programs

   
1. Matriculation Mathematics and English.
      
For students of class X who have not had the expected standards in the subjects Mathematics and English, were given special guidance for the three months to achieve the expected standard.
   
2. Home Proficiency Test.

Extracurricular Programs
