Education Unit Level Curriculum
Petra Christian high school implement a national curriculum, Curriculum Education Unit (SBC). This curriculum allows students to develop their potential in academic and nonakademik. This is consistent with the school's mission, namely to help students achieve a full and dynamic personality, high integrity and Christian. Students as subjects of education, while the teacher as a motivator, facilitator, and inspirational. Empower schools and dedicated human resources professional, high integrity and Christian. Schools involve parents of students to take responsibility in their children's education.
Elements of Learning Process

   1. Mastery learning program (mastery learning).
   2. Problem based learning activity.
   3. Life skills (academic skills, thinking skills, social skills, vocational skills).
   4. Educational values ​​(honesty, respect, responsibility).
Curriculum Structure

   1. Consisting of 16 subjects, local content, and personal development.
   2. Local content tailored to the characteristics and potential of the region, namely English conversation. This is based on that Surabaya is Indonesia's second largest city, and many transnational corporations standing in the city.
   3. Student self-development guided by a counselor in the form of counseling services. Students are guided to be able to deal with the problem, either personal problems, learning problems, social life, and career development (selection of majors for further study.)
   4. Allocation of study time one hour lesson is 45 minutes.
   5. Sunday effective in one year (two semesters) is 34-38 weeks.
Special Programs

   1. Matriculation Mathematics and English.
      For students of class X who have not had the expected standards in the subjects Mathematics and English, were given special guidance for the three months to achieve the expected standard.
   2. Home Proficiency Test.
      Held in semester 1 and 2, followed by all students. The results of these tests are given in the form of certificates, which are expected as a reference students' skills in English.
Extracurricular Programs
One of the school program for students' self-development process, both academic and nonakademik, is the implementation of extracurricular activities. This event is scheduled outside the hours intrakurikuler, and must be followed by students. Selection is based on the principle activities:

   1. Relevant and answer the challenges of the times.
   2. Encourage the creation of learning organizations.
   3. Preparing students to become independent and productive personal.
As for extracurricular programs, consisting of: Diskomvis (Visual Communication Design), KIR mathematics, badminton, KIR science, journalism, English club, basketball, Japanese, choirs, and modern dance.
